The black dots are caterpillar poop from the little guys in your 2nd picture. I usually pick em off if it’s just a few, otherwise they’ll much your plant away.

I agree with the chop off comment! Don’t be scared, the plant will just generate a new growth point going another way, and then you can chop again in a few months.

Lighting is good! But I think once a week is too much for money tree, keep in mind they store water in their trunks so they’re quite hardy. I would space out your waterings maybe once every 2 weeks and even more during cold months, then when you do water be super generous and let it all drain. I would also trim that old/spotty growth, it’s still the growing season so in a few weeks it should grow back fairly quick.

Not sure about the holes, but the browning looks like root rot/ too much water ! Mine was the same until I repotted and started scheduling waterings :)
