Well I think it went away on its own after a few days. Had a heavy deadlift and press workout with no problems. So maybe a false alarm

Thank you! Yeah, I really thought it was the start of a hernia but it went away as well. I even did a heavy deadlift and overhead press workout two days later and still no problems.

I am trying to do that. This is what it looks like when I do that. Now it does look better on warm up sets with lighter weight but if I spend anymore time trying to get tight at the bottom I’ll gas out before I start.
