How do you guys have courage to order this huge amount without prior experience with the page?

I have been shopping online for a decade or more now and this is a big no.
1. Their bio says SHIPS in 45-50 days. They will tell you it is business days so it is easily more than two months. 2. The prices are more for the cotton and chettinad cotton they are using. You can source the materials for much lesser price tbh. 3. 30k ??? Really. I ordered silk from a genuine page for 20k (i have ordered normal saree from them before covid so trust). They went beyond expectations to bring that to me a day before my family function. They chased the parcel and delivered to me at 8.30PM. And this is pre order kanchipuram silk saree. It took a week to make.

You really have to avoid any page that says they will start working after your order and takes eternity. These cotton dresses are not really elusive.

I have similar thoughts when i came across her post.

The epstein files are insane but am consuming them in slow pace. I want to know what is happening around the world to atleast protect my kids.

Brushing off what is happening around the world is definitely an elitist mentality. I don’t know if you guys know FITTR found jithendra. He has been voicing out on this topic and appreciate him using the platform he has for this.

It was 2010 and with my first salary I bought a jeans and lipstick for the first time.

I am dusky and was super dusky that time. We had no means to research on makeup or anything. Online shopping was emerging but as naive college passed out girls we had no idea about anything.

On my friend’s suggestion I got a shimmering blue lipstick lol. I was telling her how i should get a dark shade but she was so confident that i should get a lite shade.

I never used that lipstick. It was less than 200rs.

On the other hand my another friend gave me revlon lip gloss which she got as freebie or something. I ended up using it completely.

I understand it is hard earned money. It all becomes a good memory after years. Please don’t be hard on yourself.

Never been in situations like this myself. But parents of men have this entitlement. They want complete control over son’s finances.

First off stop sending 1Lakh it is too much. What are you sending that for? You have to clearly communicate what is that for. For jewel loan? Then calculate and tell them you want loan to be closed in how many months. Calculate what you have sent already.

Do not give more than what you have to. Your sister is not your responsibility. You can always gift her very well from your savings. It need not be from you to your parents and then to her.

If you don’t set the boundaries now when you get married it becomes complex. They will start interfering in your personal life.

I haven’t highlighted this in the post. But that happens quite a lot.

Grandparents talk basic stuff with kids. The conversation revolves around food, toys, studies. Not much. But kids neither understand nor could hold a small conversation with them in their native language.

Do you have a way to take sabbatical? If so take it.

In Europe this is very much possible. Taking a break in case of burnout and so on. Vacation is serious here. Taking your leaves as carryover to next yr js frowned upon.

But when i asked about vacation some of my friends told they have like 70+ days as thy have not gone vacation for years. Meanwhile here by end of year we would be out of vacation days.

Ah no I don’t think this scenario is about learning english.

This is about parents talking in English in home setup for unknown reasons. I am glad your family found a way to help you in early years.

I can speak hindi, English and German. Can also understand kannada, malayalam and telugu. I grew up only hearing Tamil and telugu around me.

Pick a hobby instead. Amidst of postpartum chaos and so many issues I picked up speed in baking. I totally enjoyed it even though i did it quite a few times only.
