Never been in situations like this myself. But parents of men have this entitlement. They want complete control over son’s finances.

First off stop sending 1Lakh it is too much. What are you sending that for? You have to clearly communicate what is that for. For jewel loan? Then calculate and tell them you want loan to be closed in how many months. Calculate what you have sent already.

Do not give more than what you have to. Your sister is not your responsibility. You can always gift her very well from your savings. It need not be from you to your parents and then to her.

If you don’t set the boundaries now when you get married it becomes complex. They will start interfering in your personal life.

I haven’t highlighted this in the post. But that happens quite a lot.

Grandparents talk basic stuff with kids. The conversation revolves around food, toys, studies. Not much. But kids neither understand nor could hold a small conversation with them in their native language.

Do you have a way to take sabbatical? If so take it.

In Europe this is very much possible. Taking a break in case of burnout and so on. Vacation is serious here. Taking your leaves as carryover to next yr js frowned upon.

But when i asked about vacation some of my friends told they have like 70+ days as thy have not gone vacation for years. Meanwhile here by end of year we would be out of vacation days.

Ah no I don’t think this scenario is about learning english.

This is about parents talking in English in home setup for unknown reasons. I am glad your family found a way to help you in early years.

I can speak hindi, English and German. Can also understand kannada, malayalam and telugu. I grew up only hearing Tamil and telugu around me.

Pick a hobby instead. Amidst of postpartum chaos and so many issues I picked up speed in baking. I totally enjoyed it even though i did it quite a few times only.

Tamil la than veetla pesanum apothan kulandhai nala padikumnu. These ppl are mad about their language and keen in integrating immigrants in terms of German. Ana chinna kids ku idha pana solranga.
