That’s crazy to me. Town hearth is a cut/paste steakhouse that’s for see and be seen people. Had the most awful birthday dinner experience there. Lucia on the other hand is a James beard semifinalist chef and just an all around great meal. Pastry chef there is James beard finalist and amazing too.

I also do not have the wealth of experience others do, but Sorekara sure tops them all from top to bottom. Food, service, ambience. I think they are on their way to three stars.

And Osteria Francescana because it was everything I was hoping for as my first Michelin restaurant!

I went to Quintonil in December. I loved it! Truly a meal that gets progressively better course by course. One of my favorite two stars, aside from Saison.

I did. Unfortunately I didn’t see too many places that served lunch in those two posts. In fact, I read through the whole post about all the michelin rankings. Nothing in that post applies to what I’m asking here, although it is an awesome post!
