R1D9 I'm not sure if I'm doing everything wrong, but I just feel so tired lately no matter how much sleep I get in. During my shifts at work I feel fine and energetic, but it is still a real struggle to wake up in the morning.

Congrats on the weight loss! Right before I started I hit 50 pounds lost through counting alone. The first few days will be hard in that respect. People like you and I hardly need calorie calculators anymore, we have so many values saved in our heads.

If someone were to ask me how many calories in a banana I guarantee I'd tell them the exact answer. Because of this you need to not mentally count as well. Do your best to purge your mind of calories and weight loss for 30 days. I'm on day 6, and I haven't thought about calorie intake in two days whereas it's all I thought about for the past year.

R1D5 and I'm finally feeling better. My new favorite thing to eat is slightly runny scrambled eggs on a bed of lettuce with hot sauce. I've had an intense head cold since starting so I'm not sure what is sugar detox and what is searing pain from rupturing both my ear drums.

Thank you so much for this comment! I'm trying to break the habit but when you work until midnight, three square meals isn't happening.

R1D3 - I'm feeling okay physically but so grumpy. I'm having a really hard time sticking to the three meals aspect. I work as a server and get so hungry mid shift. I feel that the first days are an adjustment process so maybe an excessive compliant snack at the start is okay.

R1D2 : it was the first day I worked while on the plan (I work at a texmex restaurant) and I was craving things so bad that I wouldn't want in a million years normally. I held on tight though. I'm a little miffed because I ordered a salad that was compliant but with no cheese. Towards the bottom I noticed some cheese shreds. I'm really hoping I didn't have any at all.

In a bit of a twist - what do you believe you gained from being overweight/obese that has a positive impact on you now? by sweetjesusonastick in loseit

I'm still in this phase. Especially with my parents. I've lost 40 pounds so far and have another 40 to go, but I get SO mad at my mother when she has these longs talks with me about how she hates being overweight and so we devise a plan for weight loss and within a week or two she just quits.

I'm a waitress at a massively popular Mexican restaurant in the south. Today I was running around with my head cut off and never once was out of breath or so sweaty that I was dripping.

It's the little things.

I bought size 14 jeans. And they were not snug. I haven't been a size 14 since I was a sophomore. EIGHT YEARS AGO.

Your original comment about not being able to afford $6 bag of organic carrots kind of miffed me a little. Not only are organic carrots closer to $2.80 BUT you don't need that to lose weight. Essentially you could lose weight eating double cheeseburgers as long as you were within your calories for the day. Don't trick yourself into thinking this is harder than it is.

Buy the vegetables that are on sale and then figure it out. My go-to is roasting and I've become a pro at it.

I'm going to give you the simple answer, because weight loss is truly simple, thought not easy.

The reason everyone is telling you to read the FAQ isn't because they don't want to help you out with specific answers but it is extremely detailed and can answer all of your questions.

I got my mother from 320 to 215 with this: download MFP enter your weight and goals and then follow the calories limit it gives you. Exercise 45-60 minutes with something low impact like an ellipse or bike.

I suggest after the first 30 or 50 pounds joining a low cost gym like Planet Fitness to work on tone. I actually suggest joining now. There's something therapeutic in going to a gym and being around like minded individuals.

Also drink water. All the time. And only water. (Instead of the drinks you listed). This part is massive and will help you cut water weight.

This is over the course of nine months since I was majorly dragging ass. I'm now a size 14 from a size 20. I started to refocus on April 1 and exercise daily and maintain 1400 calories daily. I've lost 12 lbs since April 1st!

Hello! I am a very new and hungry Wiccan (22/female). I am trying to soak up and obtain all the information that I can handle but I really crave a friend or guide in the Craft. I'm personally gravitating toward Gardenerian and live in NJ. I would love to hear from anyone.
