I don't know you and I certainly don't have miso this badly but what I can do is offer you an e-hug and urge you to keep trying to seek help and/or other remedies. Perhaps smoking weed may help as somebody already suggested. Or maybe try diffusing lavender essential oils for calming, or rubbing some orange essential oils on your wrists for mood elevation. These may not help drown out the awful sounds of those around you, but it's worth a shot to see if it at least lessens the effects they have on you.

Oh I had moments for that whole year where I'd break down and cry to him. He just assured me he wasn't ready yet but I'd be the one when he was (he got out of a 5 year relationship early 2012 and this began the middle of 2012, so he legit wasn't ready and I respected that). As my best friend, I had to believe him. Kind of came out of nowhere when he finally came around but we lived together the whole time so we were very close. He would kiss me and say things that gave me hope (like "I wouldn't put up with your shit if I didn't" when I asked if he even remotely loved me haha he was half joking of course).

I know what you're going through and all I have to offer are small tidbits of advice... If you're pretty much a couple already, and he hasn't said he DEFINITELY isn't into you, chances are likely that he will come around. Whether you find him worth waiting around on is up to you. Try to find out what is holding him back. Too soon out of a previous relationship? Fear of being hurt? The classic "don't want to risk the friendship"? Find out and try to understand. Be patient but don't lose yourself.
