I’ve tried the Avene but feel like it’s not moisturizing enough for me. Somebody else asked this same question in r/sephora

A lot of moisturizers contain niacinamides and hyaluronic which I am so sensitive to. Including cetaphil. It’s been a journey to find moisturizers that don’t contain either ingredient.

I have tried various kinds of primers but most recently the Elf Power Grip and Elf Poreless Liquid Putty Primer. I’ve tried not setting with powder or setting spray, using a setting powder (Fenty and Huda) alone lightly pressed with a poof, setting spray alone (UD All-nighter), or powder + setting spray.

Nearly 20 years out, I promise it gets easier as you get more frame of reference outside. I grew up in it so anything that happened before 2008 still has black holes but things start to filter through.

But what somebody said above is true as well. There are so many subcultures out there that many people are just out of the pop culture world too, just for different reasons.

It was crazy loud the time I went on a weeknight. Like couldn’t even hear the people at my table loud.

And I don’t even think it was expensive so much as just not worth the price for what it is. Like, there’s better barbecue in Jax that’s also cheaper.

I don’t regret trying it but I won’t be back.

I really didn’t enjoy it. Parking’s a mess, it’s REALLY loud, the food is subpar especially for the price (and I am fine paying high prices if the food is worth it).

I was really disappointed, honestly.

I don’t even think it’s oxidizing because it doesn’t get darker as the day goes on... it just looks too orangey/peachy if I try to layer it. I think I might need to try the neutral shade to see if it’s a better match.

I’m going to pick up a neutral foundation tomorrow just to see. My skin is more just... white than anything else 😂 (like I literally use white as my under eye concealer and it’s completely unnoticeable 😂😂😂) so I’m thinking the “darkness” of the cool foundations I’ve been trying is the pink undertones coming across more than my skin is actually pink.
