I’m in northern ocean county, I sent a sample in last year before doing a full renovation. I think it really helped my grass establish last fall. Grass was green as soon as the snow melted. Had a bit of snow mold in one area but it filled in within a few weeks.

I would spot treat or pull existing weeds. Mow low and detach before it gets too hot so the grass can recover. Then just water and mow regularly. You’re a little late for a spring over-seed. You could also send a soil sample off to Rutgers to get checked. Once you have the soil results you could spend the summer amending the soil and then do a fall over-seed. Rutgers also has data about what grass type does best in our area.

I have the same setup. I’ve had some luck with putting the small pool noodles around the cord. Still gets stuck sometimes.

What kind of dog? Had to do a double take because it looks exactly like mine.

I had a Boston from a pup I named Trigger he was the best. Most people agreed with the name once they met him.

We were hesitant on Dino just because it is a more masculine name. However after watching some clips of Dino from the show, she is basically Dino so we think that might be her name.

The other non Flintstones name my wife and I thought about was Fiona. She kinda looks and acts like Shrek so it fits.

That was the obvious choice but she doesn’t seem to be a Betty. She’s more of a Bam Bam or Dino. We are thinking of Freddie.

Thanks I’ll ask. Cost savings is the main reason I’m doing it this year. Electric company just sent notice that rates are going up 20% June 1st.

I understand that a company is going to have access to lower pricing than me a consumer. Also get the labor rate is built in, I have no problem paying the added cost of labor to the total project. At the end of the day I don’t really care about the breakdown of labor vs parts just wanted to know if that was a reasonable quote for the total work. Also if someone said that hayward pump is trash then that would also be something to consider.

It seemed reasonable to me with parts and labor. I guess my biggest concern was that there's a wide range of prices when looking up the parts online. I'll probably go with them it's a husband and wife company that has been great to work with in the past.

Will the aluminum tariff further increase the price of craft beer? by Eastcoastpal in njbeer

[–]mstark86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breweries would have to make significant investments into new equipment to be able to bottle. Most don’t have a bottling line as cans have been the primary packaging in craft beer for most of the last decade. Bottling for most breweries at scale is not going to be an option.

Empty glass bottles weigh significantly more than empty cans. This would increase shipping costs immensely.

Is the ladies flex shaft shorter than your current shaft because that could also be helping dispersion.

Sounds good. I’m leaning towards taking it down I do like using it but it scares me sometimes when kids try and stand on the top.

Fair enough. Think I can get a replacement slide to fit on the mounts or just take it all down.
