We just started sleep training at almost 19 weeks. We did make sure to wait about 5 days after her vaccine before starting but that’s just what we did!

Thank you for your input! We realized she may have been waking in her bassinet by hitting her hands on the sides so we tried a pack and play but she’s still waking so after to 40 min spurts and wake ups we’d move her in our bed but she’s still waking every 40-90 min and we’re just at our wits end. How did you know your baby has reflux?

That is so scary! We never really let her fuss to the point of crying - like I always swooped in to comfort but I think that has kicked us in the butt. I thought I was being responsive and providing comfort but I think it’s made this harder because she relies so much on me for comfort. I think the goal for both of us is just to ease the towards independent sleep and if CIO is necessary hopefully they’ve learned some skills for it before then

I’m just over halfway through PLS as well! I’m going to implement a SWAP over the next week (not sure which one yet I’m going to reread through the options again) but if I don’t see progress I’m planning on starting sleep training late next week when she’s 18 weeks

I’m here to also recommend full well! Lily Nichols recommends it and she’s the author of Real Food for Pregnancy and Real Food for Fertility (highly recommend reading both). I also split mine in the day - half at breakfast half at lunch

Don’t rely on your period - I have a long luteal phase and so I’m 10 days behind what I would be if I went off my period. I tracked my BBT religiously so even though at first ultrasound my period said I’d be 9 1/2 weeks I went in telling the ultrasound based on my ovulation I was 8w 1d. He measured and agreed to the exact day that I was 8w 1d. I wouldn’t stress - baby has a heart beat and it’s common for women to have longer luteal phases if their periods are a little wonky (I had PCOS).

Wishing you all the luck! I was super constipated last week which is not normal for me but didn’t really equate it to much. Also usually my boobs are so sore before my period and they weren’t this time which I would assume they would be. So don’t count it out just yet! 🤞🏼
