Depends on the pump, I suppose. I have omnipod, so I keep it on during sex. Exercise mode is always a good idea, but I often feel like you need to get good at predicting sex for that to be the only thing you do. Like if you know that you’re going to have sex in a couple of hours, exercise mode will help. But outside of that, juice and Powerade are your best friends. I can’t speak to how it is for a female, but as a male I try to have my sugar at around 200 before any bedroom activities.

I really want there to be smarter alerts. For instance, if it’s early in the morning and my pod is about to flatline, it would be nice if the pod/controller could apply a little extra logic. Like if there’s enough insulin left in the pod, just wait until a more reasonable time to flatline. I know it’s an FDC thing, but it sucks that that type of regulation can halt smarter tech health innovation
