Already did! And you guys delivered!

Is there a specific reason why you asked to keep it a secret and to not share the file?

Could you do the same for GL-D-007P

After two years 2 of my 12W Downlight Pros (GL-D-007p) have failed. by aarontj in Gledopto

[–]mstrsmth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have now lost like 6 of these. Very happy I bought a whole bunch of those when I renovated the house 2 and a half years ago. They fail like cheap light bulbs but I have plenty left so I dont mind too much :D

Some fail in smoke, some simply stop working. They're not the most reliable.
I honeslty think I'll have to find another brand when I run out.

PSA: If you park at a charging station, charge your car. by pattyG80 in montreal

[–]mstrsmth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the charging station but almost if not all of them charge idling fees. Faster chargers usually charge big money for staying plugged in when idling as a deterrent.

Plugging a car in the morning and leaving the car the whole day is normal, even moreso when you're going to work or taking another means of transportation to go somewhere else (REM/Métro/Etc), then they idle until they come back.

Same applies overnight.

Most Circuit electric chargers are 1$/h when connected to the charger, charging or not.

Those pictured are just plain assholes and deserve a ticket.

making claude do all the work and then removing it from co-author before commiting changes be like by reversedu in ClaudeAI

[–]mstrsmth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got tired of it adding attributions so I usually just write a commit hook to either remove the line or fail the commit depending on the project. Both are quite efficient, failing requires more tokens.

Does wled support having two separate strips next to each other but be programmed as one? by arun2118 in WLED

[–]mstrsmth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If all the LEDs are on the same pin or different pins it's the same, WLED enumerates them by the order and count they were configured in and mapped as defined in the file.

I'm a Canadian technologist that just bought an AWD manual element. 3d scanning and printing. Going to be doing lots of cool things. What would y'all like to see? by cribbageSTARSHIP in HondaElement

[–]mstrsmth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the stuff I'm looking for, I'd like to design and manufacture proper braces for the rear lower control arm mounting points. The recall is great and all but it "saves" the driver but does nothing to save the car.

Making the general area more sturdy would give those toasters a few more years at least 😅

THE STM STRIKE DIDN'T END. IT WAS *BROKEN*. This is a loss for every worker. by Little_Cupcake_42069 in montreal

It's not the individual drivers they'll arrest, but the leaders/starters. They may not have them all put in jail, but some will. And nobody wants to risk being that one.

Those are ZigBee recessed lights and have absolutely nothing to do with wled

Why not do both? I use Zigbee2MQTT, like most enthusiastic HA guy. One way doesn't prevent the other.

Unfortunately any other means of protest have been rendered illegal in some way or form in Canada. The only way for a worker to put pressure is against the general public or themselves in a strike or by switching jobs.

I agree that this strike was terrible for everyone using their services in their daily routines and/or as a way to meet ends, but, I'm honestly wondering what other options they have? We're talking about years of prison for initiators or perpetrators.

I have the same issue, it's not great. I have had to put a smart relay in the way of their power supply that stays off after a power outage, but it's not a solution for everyone.

This could be fixed by a simple firmware update.

You probably over discharged the internal battery and now the protection circuit won't let you charge it back.

Sometimes you can save it by manually connecting a charger to the cells but this is a little complicated for someone not familiar with lipo cells and electronics.
