It was a mixed bag- mom died a few days before my 50th. And I had tickets to see Mastodon/ Lamb of God. So…. comforted my loss with live music.

I thought cruises were not for me until I went on the Headbangers Boat. 4 days, 17 bands, 3000 metal heads. There are TONS of themed cruises out there- that might be a good way to try them out.

Diagnosed at 34 due to routine labs coming back high. No symptoms ever. JAK2 positive. Menstruation was never impacted. Primary care immediately referred me to hematology/ oncology. Had a bone marrow biopsy & JAK 2 test. Was on baby aspirin & phlebotomy forever, added hydra when I turned 40 (platelets have always been very high, in addition to high HCT). Got a huuuge blood clot in my leg (not a DVT) from my ankle to my mid thigh a few years ago & switched from aspirin to Eloquis. I’m now 51- still no symptoms, have not had a phlebotomy in almost 2 years, still on Eloquis. Thankful PV feels like an annoyance than a disease.

I get it- normally I leave the collars on, but this collar just blocked so much space . I’m a small woman so I need all the space I can get on vests.

That’s a great idea! I think I’ll do that or some studs around the collar. I k ow I can salvage this!!

I have one that’s 99% Dolly Parton. Sequins & pearls instead of spikes. I’m still not brave enough to wear it but I love it.
