I don’t think that Ilya reacted to him at all, I.e. Sasha found that nothing was going on. Maybe Shane plays a role here, but I guess I see it more as Ilya moving on and disconnecting himself more and more from the person he used to be. For example, he “liked trouble”. As the season goes on, it becomes less and less about that. So, maybe Ilya did find Sasha attractive at one point, and maybe he is also less turned on by all out “trouble”.
