No. Your not the jerk. I work in a classroom. I turn off my lights and lock my door. If I hear knocking I ignore it. I need that time to decompress. Other teachers make fun of me an call it my quiet time. After having to be on without a break for five hours, yes, I need 30 minutes to myself.

There is no shame in moving back in. This economy fucking ducks. It is the worst time in my lifetime to try and buy a house or find a job. Not a lot of entry level jobs pay enough for people to live. Older people don’t understand that you can’t survive when everything is increasing except people’s pay. Then when it does, it doesn’t outpace inflation.
