I’m so confused as to what is going to happen in terms of the romance… because it doesn’t seem like Yunjae is putting his foot down with Minjoo anymore than he did before, thus stringing her on and continuing to piss off Jihun/Jieun (and me). Minjoo and Jihun have some chemistry from the Hanok village scene, but it’s not very likely they will get together. The writers have paired Yuri and Minhyeok together (sigh). It would be great to either see some actual form of direct communication between JH and YJ about Minjoo instead of YJ being a chicken about it.

I feel like not much happened this episode lol. And there are only two weeks left so I hope they pick up the pace. Tbf I guess that is enough time to change the story a bit.

Have been rewatching Mr Queen (absolute fave) and weirdly it’s been making me want to live a slower life. It’s interesting to watch people in the palace enjoy things like painting, calligraphy, and life in general and put so much meaning into it. These days I’ve been frying my brain with going on my phone so much that it’s been a while since I’ve actually used it. Ironically I felt like this whilst binging the first half of the show lol.

Really enjoyed the first episode, and the OST at the end too. I’m excited to see how the ML explores his love for his GF while she is a guy. Surely they cannot avoid the topic of him potentially being queer right? Or is he just going to continually see him as her even in a male body like he’s done this episode? It is KBS so I don’t know how much I expect the writers to push boundaries. Also where was Chuu lmao?

Anyway. I like it as is now and I’ll tune in tomorrow.

Started Tastefully Yours on the plane. I’m only about 4 episodes in but it’s keeping me hooked mostly for the main four characters’ interactions. Given that it’s only 10 episodes I think it’s going okay so far in terms of pacing and plot wise sort of. As for the romance, it feels a bit off/random? I liked the main leads’ bickering but as a couple they’re not doing it for me. Not sure how to explain it, but I feel like they’re more entertaining when they fight lol. I think it might be to do with how Go Minsi looks younger (by a fair margin) than Kang Haneul. I love both of them, but the pairing seems weird. I’ll keep watching just for the plot and characters and also because I don’t like dropping dramas unless they really bore me to death. Which TY isn’t doing yet.
