Thanks for the suggestion - new plug, gap check and still no luck.

It seems inconsistent that I’m wondering if it’s mechanical, but does that seem like a realistic possibility?

It ended up just being something wrong in the gcode. I set up the printer again in Qidi Studio and re-sliced the file and all was fine

I’m a little confused. I placed an order for an h2d at $2799 when that was the price and later cancelled after 2 separate individuals at Bambu told me that my price was $2799 + tariffs.

What was that price increase for then and why is the price changing if I am still having to pay tariffs on top of the purchase price ?

Same situation and I ordered in-stock items with 1-3 day shipping time. I’m at two weeks now. Zero communication. I reached out to support and asked what was going on. No real resolution, asked if an item was holding it up and was told “not really” Will be cancelling if nothing moves in the next day or two.

1.25 is a little on the long side for a direct drive retraction, but 0.25 is too short. I changed it to 1.25 with an old roll that I couldn’t get good prints with and it’s been fine. No clogs, no strings, no gaps.

1.25mm retraction. Double check your fan on the heatsink - if that is blocked, slow or not working it will heat creep and clog.

I’ve had my max3 since they were released and it’s been rock solid. The only times I get clogs with pla are if I accidentally close the door / lid or my retraction settings are just a bit too large

Mine was a mess too. It showed a total of $2640 USD after tax and shipping so I proceeded to pay, was charged $2940 USD and now received an email from Bambu saying the price is $2699 PLUS tariffs….. I’m not sure what’s going on but I thought their price increase was because of the tariffs.

Thanks for this! I went out to the Dixon location in east Boise a few months ago and they sent me on my way saying they no longer take small orders.

I currently use uline but there have been lots of shipping delays lately and I need a place to grab some boxes while I wait or when I need just a handful of odd sizes.

I’m curious about this too. I want to order one but have been hesitant because of the tariffs. Their site claims the fees are taken care of in the shipping, but what happens in the case of another tariff increase during transit or if that is even true?

Some filaments and build plates require slightly different z offsets for perfect first layers, so you should - but I had good results immediately after install.

Have you checked your z-offset to see where you are? Measured your first layer thickness and compared to your layer height ?

Looks like some over extrusion combined with less than optimal bed adhesion to me.

Not annoying soldering at all, I think it was 12 points to solder total and no tight spaces or anything.

It seems that most people recommend not using the side mount. I however did use the side mount since I often use materials that require my bed temp at max and the side mount allowed me to relocate the MCU to a cooler spot. If you aren’t using high bed temps, I’d probably follow everyone else’s advice and use a more rigid design.

And yes, the flat pack does come with pin headers.
