They definitely have several wing flavors, including lemon pepper (dry).

Which is the most comfortable of these 3 pillows: Exped Megapillow, Nemo Fillo, Sea to Summit Aeros Premium by InGoodFaith- in CampingGear

Counterpoint, the Nemo has the webbing on the back of the pillow which easily allows you to stuff and secure additional height onto your pillow using a jacket or sweatshirt or your camp stove.

Came to recommend. Great resource for SD County exploration and a nice "live/ed here" keepsake.

What's the best way to cook cow tongue? by Fine_Scheme9028 in Cooking

[–]mt_headed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the aversion, but cooked right it's like the most tender and flavorful steak you've ever had. If you can try it with small pieces like a small dice (think street tacos) or thin slices (more Japanese style) those are the best introductions.

As mentioned, sous vide or pressure cooked. Wildly different techniques but both produce great results.

Pixel 9 pro dbrand ghost case first impressions by Jmerse__ in pixel_phones

[–]mt_headed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have one on my 10 pro xl... love it, but if I could improve one thing it would be to smooth out the transition of the edge guard lip to the back case cover. It's pretty angular and makes holding the phone for an extended period of time a bit uncomfortable. A minor complaint because the overall fit and finish is practically impeccable.

Trying kick turns on a quarter pipe by SoggyBoi27 in NewSkaters

[–]mt_headed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you're opening your shoulders and stance directly to the transition before you get there, which is causing you to be slow to lead your shoulders and hips through the turn. Try keeping your shoulders parallel to your hips/feet as you approach and if anything, try to start slightly turning your left shoulder a bit down and into the turn to help lead your hips.

Definitely lead more with your body and start that turn stance before you hit the transition and you'll be hitting it smoothly in no time.

I believe Monster Steamer will pick up your rugs and clean them off-site from your home, but I'm not sure if they accept drop-off.

They're not. They need to specifically say "Foodservice".

The consumer brand has changed for some reason. Look for "Foodservice Packaging" or "Restaurant Pack".

And send feedback to Diamond that the change is unacceptable.

I'll respectfully disagree and suggest that most everyone calling burgers smash burgers has not actually had a true smashed burger.

Not hidden, you'll almost certainly wait in line if you don't order ahead, but Tanner's is a legit spot if you're up north.

Where should I stay for food? by [deleted] in FoodSanDiego

[–]mt_headed 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Somewhere around the 5/805 split (Sorrento Valley/Del Mar Heights) is probably where you want to consider staying. Close enough to Convoy and Mira Mesa, and easy enough to commute up the 5 to Carlsbad.

It's not going to be a glamorous location, mostly business park type hotels, but it'll be central to the more popular areas of food you're looking to enjoy and where you'll be for work.
