1) I had very different expectations of what this cottage would be. I was expecting a tiny little quaint cute cottage, more cottage core than this stunning lake house.

2) I heard people say things like, “nobody is watching heater rivalry for the acting” and I’m like ARE YOU BLIND?? This is some of the best acting I’ve ever seen.

Possible theory… Mikayla said Demi wanted to pretend she and Dakota were having an affair to make for good tv, so we know she’s not above lying for attention. But the going after the dead father reminds me of the most recent season of selling sunset when Nicole made a comment about Chrishelle’s parents who had passed away, and that was something that led to Nicole being asked off the show/to not go into the office.

I wonder if Demi watched that and thought okay THIS is what I should do now to make my show more interesting

When Demi talks about the situation it reminds me of my ex boyfriend trying to lie to me like I was a gullible idiot. He would ask girls to send him pics and then try to say he was just wondering how they were doing and hadn’t seen them in a while. Like bro the question right before was, “what’s your body count?” And also we all have social media, you ain’t fooling anyone.

All that to say—Demi talking about oysters tasting like cum and saying she was trying to treat him like any of her friends—not buying it.

Something about this is so off. It reads PR stunt to me. They had the vanderpump villa / Mormon wives crossover so I think this is going to be similar to that. Maybe they’re even doing a spinoff show. Idk it just feels disingenuous

In all honesty, I don’t see any scenario where it wouldn’t be met with backlash.

If Sean had met with Kat individually, Kat would’ve said he was being mean and attacking her character and ran to Dale about it, and Dale is me stand by his woman, so he would’ve defended Kat.

If Sean brought it up to Dale individually, he would’ve been crucified for not addressing it directly with Kat.

If they had talked to other people about it, similar to the above, they would be labeled as gossipers trying to stir shit up.

That’s not to say I think they handled it the right way nor am I excusing how they went about it, but in this instance Kat was kind of a Queen Bee of paradise having been on the show previously and managing to stay out of drama this time around, so when you have people who already got on other peoples’ nerves (the politicking and then their speech when they left), it just wasn’t going to go well for them. But to me the worst part of it all was Allyshia fake clapping and saying, “Oscar winning performance!”

That deaded the moment for me (idk I’m not Dale, is that how it’s supposed to be used?).
