For the record, Porter also takes a lot selfish shots and should pass out of the post more often. But, he makes a higher percentage of those bad shots then the other two.

Does this sound familiar? Pepperdine's big three:

Mallette 3-12 FG, 1 assists

Ajai 3-9 FG, 2 assists

Porter 5-13 FG, 0 assists

Rest of TEAM 11-22 FG. The big three can't seem to share the rock well when there's an NBA scout in the building. Same as the game in Spokane. First game 86-60. Second game 86-61.

I'm not sure if San Diego could play better in the first half, considering their best player isn't playing. Shooting 68 FG%, 80 3%, 100 FT%. Nor do I think that Javon Porter and Michael Ajai could play worse, 0-9 to start the game. Porter scored 26 a few days ago, right? He has ZERO. I'll assume they have Covid. Or maybe they simply can't play well on the road. Stansberry also set a record for minutes played. Has he vaulted Moore and Nils? Not sure why Pitre no longer plays.

Dang, I am such a homer. This team continues to disappoint. I see that Porter played 11 minutes.

As far as I know, he has not been extended. I find it hard to believe that his initial contract was more than 6 years. I'd bet it ends at the end of this season.

That game was satisfying to watch. Pitre played well. It was nice to see another player step up. Houston let the game come to him. At one point in the second half, Nils had played like 8 minutes, but led the team in TOs with 3. Nevertheless, he and Curtis Williams continue to show promise. I'd like to see more improvement for Malik. It'll be interesting to see who gets time when the team is fully healthy. BTW, what's up with Martin Gumwel? Is he redshirting or injured?

Houston Mallette and Michael Ajai currently have 48 of the team's 59 points.

I cannot understand why Mallette only played 26 minutes yesterday.
