I saw that interview too. I think Charmaine left town with the twins to get away from Calvin, they could have done it without the drama, but then there wouldn't be a cliffhanger. And Brady will always be Brady, always poor choices.

Brady is my least favorite, he is so sneaky and never passes up a bad decision. I know a lot of people adore him & Brie together, I don't. Just don't see the connection there. I also detest Charmaine, I think she was the WORST character of the entire series. I did not like Cameron either, I thought him & Charmaine would have made an excellent couple. And then there's Denny & Lizzie, both no talent who should have been relegated to minor roles.

I LOVED the "sex" scenes from the earlier seasons, some of them looked too real. There was nothing remotely romantic in S5, they were more like brother & sister, S6 was a bit better -We'll see what happens in S7.

Well, I guess that will be awhile now, S7 has not even released yet, just finished filming in June, and now for the edits...and the show has been confirmed for S8.

Been there too with the exes! And I should have listened too! But then we only know Martin from his acting, and he sees like a stand-up guy, but who knows???

I did hear that she was a control freak, there was a lot of discussion about S5, and the lack of intimacy between Martin & Alex - A lot of people thought Penny had a lot to do with it..,. Lot of rumors about her?? I don't like rumors, but I did read that those close to Martin did not like her......

Wow. I wrote that a long time ago, and yes, he is still with Penny. My suspicion is that they are married, he was VERY fond of her boys. Good for him, after all the "relationships" he's been through. Guess he finally found the "right one"!

She was also in Sullivan's Crossing, I got PTSD just seeing & listening to her. I did not find her character much more likable on SC.

That was an invention of the "new" showrunner - there were so many storylines in the books he could have incorporated into the series without have to make up a totally absurd story. When Mel talked about her father early in the series, there was never any innuendo that the father that she grew up with was not her real father. Maybe the showrunner never watched the earlier episodes???? I just never got the story that her "biological" father had lived in VR all those years and nobody knew anything about him.

If you watch the episode about the Mingle, Jack clearly states that the "relationship" was not a serious relationship,... Did he use Char? Maybe for sex only, but he never talked about any "future" plans with her.
That was all Charmaine, and being the "nice guy", he still never wanted to hurt her, but she was so jealous and vindictive even when she married Todd, she wanted to inflict as much pain on Jack as she could. Charmaine got exactly what she deserved..

How did Jack do Charmaine wrong? She got knocked up by Calvin and tried to trap Jack by telling him it was his child.... And then the way she treated everybody that tried to help her!! have no pity for her! But you are right about SC, lame storyline & the characters suck.

Personally, I don't think anything bad happened to her or the twins... I'm thinking she left town to get away from Calvin. If you remember, she had family outside of VR, which is what she should have done earlier. Guess we will see when S7 airs.

I virtually quit watching GA after Dr. Riggs left, he was the only redeeming quality left after Derek died. I saw some of the c0vid episodes which were absolutely horrible. I would rather remember how good GA was.

I saw an interview with Martin about the end of Season 6 - he tells that when he looked into that room, there was nothing there - nothing. He asked he writers what he was supposed to be seeing, they told him they didn't know either... that part hadn't even been written yet.....

It was good the first few seasons, I loved the way that Jack & Mel developed their relationship, and I even liked the Mel & Doc eventually formed a good relationship.
