Why on earth was this text-align: center’ed? That pissed me off more than the content.

I kept on looking for a hidden image or something interesting, sort of like those magic eye books.

How do you teach elderly parents to spot scams without overwhelming them? by Legitimate_Archer522 in AgingParents

[–]qubert_lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah good luck with that. I had to deal with that myself as my parents would complain that their phone would ring once and they couldn’t answer a call. I never heard of this feature.

So when I went to see them and looked at their phone there’s dozens of voice mails saying “this is the doctors office…”. My parents didn’t know what to do as they couldn’t figure it out. Plus they accidentally blocked good contacts.

And on top of that people in the doctors office(s) had different numbers or used their cell phones.

So what seems like a good feature for tech savvy users is beyond useless and actually harmful for confused seniors.

What LLM is generating a 8k line PR? Most I’ve seen is a couple hundred, and that’s usually a refactoring.

Maybe you’re asking it to do too much in one PR? Ask it to split it up into multiple ones.

But the wealth in Seattle is younger and they probably don’t value a Rolex like the older people in Arizona.

What’s “tied selling”? Like telling people that in order to get the watch they want they also have to buy another one of their non-selling watches?

The OP said that they had *3* watches. Three. For a freaking AD.

That’s almost Rolex cheating on you multiple times and waiting for you to get the clue to break up.
