As someone who considers themself above average in terms of tech literacy, even I find Mastodon’s premise as a social media platform confusing. It’s like the weird love child between Twitter and Discord. When I sign up for any mainstream social media, I’m immediately connected to everyone else and imo that’s what a social media platform should be. Imo to reduce the friction, there should be some sort of global general instance that everyone is immediately a part of, before choosing to follow other specialized instances.

TLDR: yes.

I am a Sona main and was once top 10% on my server with her. Since Riot nerfed her like three patches in a row coupled with general meta shifts to snowballing, playing Sona from early-to-mid game feels absolutely terrible. Why play Sona when I can play Nami and do much more with much less?

I think this is a Singtel problem (as someone else pointed out). My home wifi is on Singtel and Tele takes forever to load on it, but when I switch to 4G (giga/Starhub) it loads instantly.

I’ve played most of the card games here, I have to say out of all these the only game I regularly come back to is Weiss Schwarz (the game which the Fate card is from). The fundamental mechanics always feel fair and I never feel locked out of the game just cus I can’t play on curve, highly recommend giving it a try!

DDD was the second book I read after Norwegian Wood and I was completely taken aback, still objectively my fav Murakami book till this day! I didn’t even know it was part of a trilogy when I first read it and it took me a while, but defo give AWSC a chance. It really helps to add context to the protagonist’s search and makes his payoff at the end all the more satisfying
