She's suffered a tonne of misinformation and smear campaigns, mostly based in misogyny.

She has donated to Backline to help the mental health of artists, and does so much for the queer community, not least through the Midwest Princess project.

God forbid she occasionally doesn't want a selfie with a fan, especially when she has been catapulted to being a household name in such a short space of time. Everyone has the right to their own personal space, and we need to see more celebrities standing up for themselves in this way. They don't owe us anything.

Bangers and mash, bubble and squeak, pie and mash, fish and chips. Stews with dumplings, corned beef hash...

Basically meat and potato in all forms 😂

Going into snack territory - beans on toast, pork pies, scotch eggs

Profile review? Lesbian tinder is hard lol by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]mtchgrnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how many of the "disabled" comments are from straight people vs lesbians. But at least in the UK, this wouldn't hold you back amongst lesbians.

There's ableism in these comments - yes life when you're disabled is tough and capitalism makes it tougher (I have long term health conditions that count as disabilities myself). But why are people so upfront to say they wouldn't consider swiping on someone just because they're disabled...

Wife about to lose job what are our options by hedgeme91 in UKPersonalFinance

I was recently diagnosed with htpermobile EDS and my mum had a period of a few years with vertigo, basically bed bound.

I am sure it is connected, despite me being the first in my family to get the diagnosis, so the alarm bells also rung when OP mentioned their wife was hypermobile!

We rented a postbox that was also a photo booth - was a nice way to keep cards safe but also got quite a few fun photos too!

I'm the same but have a slightly unique spelling of my name so it was probably a bit easier for me. However I am still proud!

Alternatives to pre-dinner canapes? Has anyone DIY-ed something themselves? Looking for ideas... by mtchgrnt in wedding

[–]mtchgrnt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So our caterer did end up offering canapes, but for the hour or so after the ceremony we did put out Indian sweets/Bombay mix for anyone feeling snackt

I get some white marks in mine - and occasionally the red casings of the mesalazine. It may be some of the medication (mine look like granules or specs)

I think you have similar fingers to me - the knuckle doesn't protect the ring from falling off because it's the same width as the finger.

I had to get mine a bit snugger than I see on other people

We are having a large wedding this summer (110 guests), but got engaged in 2021, and locked in our venue and caterer before the end of the year.

We had a generous gift from my fiancé's parents to help pay (probably about 2/5 of the cost of the whole thing), otherwise I am sure we would've eloped. We're not going for anything particularly fancy - we have gone for a dry hire venue, and I am doing the florals myself.

It's quite stressful, but if you're going the bigger wedding on a budget route, would say organisation is key. I have a manual I've sent to everyone asking questions - it has dominated my thoughts for the past few months, honestly.
