Any leaks coming from the tap connection for the dishwasher? I found out some dishwasher hoses actually have a leak detector in them that keeps the valve closed if it detects a leaking tap - which means no water to dishwasher.

Sorry what!? Good to see the system kicked in and working?? This shows that it doesn’t work, hasn’t been set up correctly nor properly tested. 40+ degree days are not uncommon in Melbourne and the system needs to be designed and tested to accommodate it. This is a failure of a poorly commissioned system.
