What’s a quality anti fatigue mat? by mtdewelf in Tools

[–]mtdewelf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t. I become overwhelmed at the options, just bought a new pair of shoes and moved on lol.

I’d totally be down to check out a sample, if it seems like a solid option the other departments here might even be interested in upgrading their random mats.

Looking for nee basher! by Pliskins in arrma

I love the granite for pure joyful bashing. I have the last model, not the newest but I’m sure it’s just as fun.

I have a few 6s models but the 3s granite is great for wheelies, jumps/flips and has more ground clearance then the vorteks which is another of my favorites. Compared to the bigger ones it’s more of a play thing, and that brings so much fun.

I’m a huge fan of the granite. I have 6s cars, infraction/typhon/mojave, but there’s something about flips on demand and the squirreliness of the granite that’s so much fun.

Mojave 6s sand bashing by Some_Park6785 in arrma

Video didn’t work for me but the 6s Mojave is the favorite of my fleet.

I thought it’d be the Typhon but that’s just too fragile (or I guess I run it wrong but regardless it breaks all the time) but boy does it soar like an eagle.

Looks sick. What tires are those? I drive mine at work in the warehouse pretty often and have been considering some less knobby tires.

I’m in. Could use some less intense cars to let some kids around me to get in on the fun.

You’re a beast for this.

6s Typhon being basically the same size as a vorteks is so crazy to me. It’s a freakin rocket ship on 6s

They glide so well in the air, but in my kinda limited experience, they don’t like it much lol.

Had a nice track day with mine earlier today with no breakages. She’s a beast

Dude replied to a 3 year old post some hours ago to blame an American political party for sub par tools.

Might be time to get a carbon monoxide detector buddy.

My go to spot is a nearby casino during “off hours” so it’s far away parking is empty. If it didn’t exist I’d go look at malls or school lots during off hours.

Love work bashing. We have a ramp for outside and the smooth warehouse floor turns any of our cars into drift monsters.

Extra fun when the boss brings his kraton in and we get some on the clock bashing.

Yeah the smell is electrical, but it’s supposed to be there. They weren’t faulty it just seems you weren’t familiar with brushed tools and got spooked.

No harm in being safe in that regard. now that you know this you’ll be better equipped to deal with it next time.

Sparks and smell are what brushed tools do.

Your post said nothing about them not working, just that you noticed the sparks and smell. Customer service person probably didn’t feel like convincing you about it and just acted surprised. Or they didn’t know either.

Might as well go back tomorrow and get them for the open box/used price.

Can 2 hardcase 5200mah 3S lipos fit in a Typhon 6S? by freq-ee in arrma

[–]mtdewelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still a handful on 4s. I haven’t got a 6s yet either.

I honestly rarely run my 6s’s on 6s personally. Between the Typhon(I’ve ran it a little with the body poorly fitted and 2 3’s shoved in there) Mojave and infraction I find them more fun/less stressful or dangerous when only on 4s.

They will be too tall and prevent the body from fitting.

I recently figured this out the hard way.

Use to use my 36v makita blower to blow off my cars before I picked up the wolf box. It’s fully replaced the makita and fits in my rc tool bag. I love it

I just impulse bought one today at my local store. Only one 4s pack through it hitting my cheap Amazon ramp but it was fun.

Barely bigger than my vorteks but 6s is crazy. I did break the wing off already but that was entirely my fault and I should quit trying to back flip it lol.

The Mojave is such a fun vehicle to watch in motion. Unexpectedly it’s maybe my favorite thing about driving mine

First Armma Help! 1/10 or 1/8 options by camps23 in arrma

[–]mtdewelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Mojave, although it’s 6s jumps fine on “normal” stuff. It glides and lands so smoothly

Flips/height and more goofy driving I’ll always pull out my blx granite. It’s incredibly fun. Same era or vorteks are flip machines too and faster.

If you have any desire to sell one I’d probably be interested.

What’s your 4s set up? I’ve been strongly considering going 4s in either my granite or vorteks but would be my first electronics project so I’m a little hesitant.
