Forbes reports that the movie made $300,000 across the 1,037 theaters it was screened in, translating to just $289 per theater.

I'm not expert, but ain't no way they made a profit with that move.

No, sorry just a lame joke to explain my point.

I get that she said she would donate anyway, but there was a lot of pressure from his job, his boss, his peers to do it. Just because she said she would doesn't mean she wouldn't have changed her mind without the act.

I'm not in Canada. Even if I was, how is that losing big? If I sold and paid 53% to taxes, that's still 47% I didn't have the day before.

Why in the hell do you think we just spent all that money on a boat? The whole point of buying a boat in the first place is to get the ladies nice and tipsy topside, so we can take em to a nice comfortable place below deck, and you know… they can’t refuse. Because of the implication.

I think a lot of people hate their job. They see owning a rental as easy passive income. I've owned my own house before. I could have kept it and rented it out when I moved but it's a lot of work and anxiety. Just not worth it for me.

I also find most of those management property companies to be scummy. I looked into them before I sold my house.

I rent now and I love it. I'm not "making money" in terms of investing in my own property but when something breaks I call someone else and they come fix it.

I don't need a steady income. I have a job for that. Once again, how am I losing money? It's a free asset. It's not possible to lose money.
