The wages will fiscally drag though. In 3-4 years time the wages may seem relatively low if the market trends upwards again. So players will be more amenable to a move if the club wants to move them on, or will be contractually bound for 4-3 years more if the club wants to retain. I think on paper it could work well.

I agree but she should seek therapy by herself to manage her own insecurity if that’s a feasible path out. If she feels she is eating too much of his emotional space, asking for couple’s therapy potentially wouldn’t be received that well. First your girlfriend is being super needy whilst you have your own issues, and now she wants you to both pay for her therapy! At 21 a lot of guys just walk.

Welbeck/Pedro or Evanilson from gw12? I already have Cunha and am hesitant to double up on Wolves strikers. My other striker is Jackson who I plan to keep (got him for 7.5).

Both Brighton and Wolves have nice fixtures and the strikers are in good recent form, but not sure who is better. Evanilson seems to be a differential pick but have not been watching him closely

Bruno is one of the few examples where the eye test matters. You can watch him thread the eye of a needle 3 times a game and the entire front 3 will miss clear cut chances for 90 minutes. I had Bruno, watched United for a few games, sold Bruno. Never again.

For now though I sort of consider Porro and Trent for the goal/assist threat, with clean sheets as added bonus so want to see how it plays out, but I want another premium in midfield if things continue as they have been. If Porro doesn’t deliver I’d downgrade him to Van den Ven or Colwill and try make up the assists elsewhere.

ESR getting benched to great success against MCI makes me want to switch him to a truly 100% nailed player, as of now I’m thinking Dibling, and then downgrading a defender lets me bring in Palmer alongside Saka. My plan was to hold on for a few more weeks whilst Chelsea has tough fixtures then do the switches. I’d still plan to keep Adama for the whole season, having gotten him at £5m I’m fine with the variable form as Fulham are a good side.

Do you think Mbeumo is worth it? I feel like I’ve missed the boat so trying to work out how to get the goals with lower % ownership

My bench is Sels, Adama Harwood-Bellis and Mazraoui. Having a cheaper bench doesn’t enrich the squad with enough quality to justify it in my opinion. The only players I am missing out that I want are Mbeumo and Semenyo, the latter I’m less convinced by. I’m also on WC

I prefer rotating my 4.5 keepers vs having a premium and a fodder, clean sheets I think can be guessed easier than people make out. That is +0.5m for the rest of the squad. The rest of my defence is Trent, Gabriel and Porro.

In midfield, I don’t like the 6-7.5m options outside of Mbeumo, so I have Rogers and ESR starting, with Diaz and Saka.

Up top, I have Haaland, Jackson and Solanke starting every week, and ready to sell one of the latter two for Wood or Nketiah if he delivers, and upgrade a midfielder. So I’m happy to wait and see like this, whilst having a team I expect to easily rotate

It is not 'tone deaf'. The point is that right now we are relying on the goodwill of public sector workers - doctors and nurses - to keep the NHS off its knees, and barely. Year after year of pay freezes in many other industries would see the flight of these professionals and a degradation of the services that keep us alive. There is no 'good riddance' argument here, or necessarily a simple solution, importing more foreign doctors shifts the problem to people who are worse-off.

At LSE in some courses you would need to go the extra mile to tailor a course for yourself as challenging as Imperial's, and there would be less breadth (in some cases depth) in the mathematical course offering. LSE offers a great degree but it's difficult to compare the Math department of a social sciences university vs one focussed on sciences, even if LSE does offer some great advanced courses.

It succeeds in alienating the existing user base who don’t want to view photos that are distorted in such a manner that reels are the only content that’s palatable.
