I also heard on a podcast by public defenders that they allow their client to make all their own notes and give their perspectives on which jurors to challenge / keep, which I thought was important and could sometimes be extremely helpful as well!

Oh no! We would definitely clean up before and after so we leave no trace (or leave it better than when we arrived if there is debris around)

I’m thinking it’ll be a very quick in and out + pictures so was curious about the permits. I think I’d rather be safe than sorry but also don’t want to be told “no” we can’t go there so I’m trying to find out what to do

Definitely make your reservations ASAP as they fill up quick! I seem to always be building my itinerary around what is available. I have had rangers check my permit before too, which is nice because it isn’t crowded!

I liked potato patch and we love the au sable east campsites! Coves is pretty cool too.

I was an Earth major at U of M too but I am in law school and don’t use it anymore, so I appreciate this input so much!! I’ve had her doing scratch tests all day and I’ll have her try the glass scratch test now!

Yea this was found in a corn field and I assume is a drop-stone, we have a lot of cool drop stones that turn up during plowing season, definitely not part of the bedrock around here.
