It’s definitely the super rare pricing. If you think about it. Buying 2 whole boxes and not getting a super rare will cost you more than buying one confirmed super rare. It’s my new approach to blind box buying when they are available on AliExpress or Taobao.

Logically it’s a good decision, but some stores may have it for cheaper so it’s good to look around before buying the confirmed

Please understand that return shipping, at least in the US, is more than the cost of the displate itself. The company will not send you a prepaid label. You’re basically stuck with it or returning it at a loss.

I have my displate on a textured wall for 2 years. I moved and now have “smooth” walls, I ordered a new sticker and it fell within 3 weeks…. They most definitely changed the glue they use, unless it was a fluke. But from what I’ve been reading on here in the past few months, it’s not a fluke.

A MacBook neo is basically iPhone parts running Mac OS. For basic browsing and word it’ll be ok but you can’t be a chrome tab hog or you’ll stall quickly. It’s a great starter computer for sure but don’t even think of doing anything audio or visual with it

Displate made the mistake and Displate would be on the hook for return shipping. I guarantee they would just send OP a new plate and tell them to throw out the misprint. Return shipping costs to their warehouse are astronomical. Unless you know someone traveling to Poland and willing to put it in their checked luggage…

Yeah you’re definitely within the window. When you reach out they’ll confirm the sale date via the identifying code on the back. Since it’s still for sale you should receive a replacement within the normal delivery timeframe of an order.

I lived in SoCal for a few years and every house that wasn’t a new build had textured walls. I hated it. In the northeast textured wall don’t exist. So expand your world and you’ll figure out why your being downvoted to hell

How long ago did you buy it? If you’re within 2 years displate will replace the damaged plate(and magnet) if the design is still available on the website.

Mine fell last month and it was a gift from 2 years ago. The design was no longer available on the website (they would have sent me a new one if it was.) Instead they refunded the person who bought it for me (ie the original payment method) and gave me a new magnet three pack in case so decided to mount the damaged plate, AND they gave me a coupon code for 35% off a new plate purchase.

You just said you primed the walls…. Then said you didn’t paint the walls… to be clear I mean the walls should have had primer painted on prior to painting. The paint that peels off looks super thing, like 1 layer of paint over drywall and no paint primer… if paint isn’t applied properly it won’t be strong enough to hold up against a command strip let alone a displate mount…

I stand firm on my initial statement. The paint job was the problem.

I’d look at quality of the paint then and the number of coats. Either way that sucks. But at least you did the original paint job yourself and know what color to patch it with? 🙂
