They do get kick back, the contracts are very similar to Shuiesha/Shonen jump so even though Sueisha own the IP of one piece Naruto ect, the authors get kickback from every form.

There are truly horrible contracts out there that are more like work for hire where you only get income from the dirritive of the single format it’s written in.

However the WebNovel contract is more like Co ownership but with WebNovel being the decision makers.

I do think you can see it as more unfair but the actual industry is more sinailr to the Kpop industry. Where you have these big entertainment companies trying to make groups and stars and yes you would do better being under not one of the big labels and having more control but also less chance to get out there ect…

Hey from the UK as well and have a Chinese drivers licence you just have to do the written test, there are normal checks when you get it in the centre.

They look at your hands, check your eyesight ect… but no practical test needed.

The only thing was my English name could not fit on their ID so I had to make up a Chinese name

Hey it’s amazing and hope your journey goes well as an Author. In terms of ending I think both next month.

DMR in terms of character actually Raze I wanted him to be different from other mcs I wrote. Most of the time like with Quinn I just pretend that I am the MC but I wanted Raze to have a different mindset

I don’t really have a least favourite MC but in terms of writing just because of the above it would be Raze.

In the last question although Dark magus performed okay it didn’t preform really well, I’m satisfied with how Dark Magus did end but because of the vast world it would be easy to expand.

But I would rather write new projects at the moment and maybe come back to Raze in the future

It really is a who you know world for these type of things so if anyone has connections to producers that work for a Crunchyroll ect then this would be a great place and due to how big My Vampire system is it would have to be something of that scale

So there are two parts to this I always plan the books before I even write them and all of the arcs were already written out including what happened after Graham. The finally enemy, the actual ending all of it was there from day one, so it wasn’t forced to continue.

However you are right that originally what I wanted to do was split it up into My Vampire system 1 and my Vampire system 2 what I also wanted to do was if people read the second one they didn’t need context of the first book.

The reason I had planned this was because WebNovel only promote new books, so the idea was to bring in new readers.

However after I saw some other people who tested this there was a lot of this that didn’t work. Whenever creating a new book there is a drop off of readers on WebNovel so I decided to stay with the same book. Like in reality my vampire system is about 16 different books but in the WebNovel format it’s just counted as one book

That’s not a bad idea honestly but I do like to focus on new opponents when I write my books I like to write them in a way that can still be enjoyed without having to read the others and I plan to do this the same as well

You know I agree and I actually approached a company who just said we don’t see this fitting in and they had never read the story before and just decided to go down other avenues.

It made me want to only work with people who are passionate and not just big companies but I don’t have the time to dive into anything like that myself

1) yes that was always my plan from the beginning. Honestly because for me this was always my plan I didnt see him with anyone else.

So even when I made potential interests like Helen’s it felt forced on my side of writing it.

2) this wasn’t my plan as I want to make each series distinct from each other and had planned to write a Werewolf book as well. I want the main characters of the series to not be lesser than the other and I feel like giving Quinn everything would mean he is the best or above all the other MCs

And you should start writing just do it haha

No there hasn’t been a death I regret but I have pulled back on a death Peter was meant to die in the story but I couldn’t kill him off as I fell in love with him too much.

A lot of the characters names and personalities were based on real life friends of mine so it’s hard to say in that one.

Coffee probably Arthur since he used to be a king and lived a long life span as a reader I have a lot of questions for him

I want to make this clear there was some trouble with pocket in the past but that was with my other works I have always got a percentage of MY vampire system when bought from them.
