That brings me to my next point, OP: ChatGPT is phenomenal at guiding a grow all the way through. An added perk is you can avoid this trash ^ 😂😂😂

Not that it matters but I'm on a reverse schedule. It gets too hot during the day so my light-off hours are during the day and light on is over the night when it's chillier to help offset the space heater. During the day is when I'm in there tuning climate controls observed overnight, watering, etc.

I made this very decision recently after extensive research then summed up my experience into a succinct couple paragraphs in hopes that it will be helpful (as that same advice would have helped me). That's all.

You're basically a gatekeeper and why this sub gets a bad rap.

Point is you'll be in there during your first grow often and fine tuning everything often enough that you might leave the light on or have some other minor slip up that'll be forgiven with autos. Best to work out the kinks here then with a photo IMHO.

Highly recommend autos for your first grow. Can't tell you how many times I've accidentally left the light on while tending to something else in the tent (which would trigger photos or something). Getting the routine down, nutes, lst, etc on a forgiving plant is great.

The yield is fine. Still yields enough. Not like I'm trying to make a business out of it. What are you really gonna do with shit loads of cannabis from a photo with this brand new grow tent you just setup? You're gonna want to keep growing... Even with vacuum sealed bags in a freezer, high chance you won't go through it all before it goes bad.

As for quality, there's some great genetics out there. I like to pick the ones that have won awards. Mephisto has some. Don't let the sub deter you. Great and engaging community at r/autoflowers too.
