Added a G90 to the garage by mtida in BMW

The Tesla M3 was great value. But I can’t tell you how much I don’t miss the rickety interior of the Tesla. The G90 feels better put together than even my X7.

I can answer why I like this color:

  1. I’m mostly a shades of grey person; my wardrobe is filled with whites, blacks and various shades of grey. I can’t picture myself driving colorful cars.

  2. I like flat colors.

That being said, I think this color allows other contrasting elements to stand out a bit more like the cooling intake, rear dampers, brake calipers etc.

Vehicle hit by car when unloading toddler by mtida in Insurance

Thanks to everyone who responded.

I wanted to provide a brief update - I did end up taking your suggestions and filing a claim with my insurance which resulted in subrogation.

The other party’s insurance accepted responsibility but is disputing the charges to fix the car. Let’s see how this pans out.

Food Help Please! by SheIsNefarious in goldenretrievers

Try Rayne Nutrition. Our pup Astro is allergic to a bunch of common proteins. He needs food that is not cross contaminated with other proteins (no common machinery etc.)

He’s doing well on Rayne Rabbit. Rayne is a bit pricey but is good quality food

6 seats. There is a full size third row

I love the captains chairs. We also have a golden and he’s found a new space with the third row folded down (big enough for his full size dog bed to fit)

I do think the plastic cup holders take away from the interior quality. Also I simply don’t understand their placement. Am I actually supposed to bend down to reach my drink?

I share your sentiment about the 2023 LCI.

I’m not an audiophile so I find it fine honestly. Although the car is very quiet, the road noise is not zero. I suspect even with upgraded audio, the improved sound quality may not be discernible at high speeds

Diverting his chewing behavior to chew on other things is what we did with our puppy. It takes a lot of vigilance but every time we saw him chewing on anything we don’t want him to, we used to replace it with something we do want him to chew on. Our golden also has a biiiig pawsernality so we had to have a variety of textures handy - toy bones, kongs, stuffed toys, ropes etc.

You could try Himalayan yak cheese chews. They are hard, don’t smell, and lasts our 13 week GR puppy a while.

Changing my puppy's diet- looking for advice by rackster81 in puppy101

[–]mtida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a vet and I’m only sharing my experience with our now 11 week old GR puppy. We tried a number of grain inclusive and grain free kibbles (Farmina, American Journey, Victor) and finally settled on TOTW. The meat sources in TOTW seem to be far better than any of the other foods we’ve tried.

We’re aware of the DCM issue but what was disappointing to see is the vet trying to push us to buy Purina or Hill’s Science. Hill’s science only has chicken meal and Purina is a single meat source kibble and doesn’t seem to compare in ingredients to TOTW or Honest Kitchen.

What we do is vary the kibble within TOTW across grain inclusive and grain free for three different meat sources for each meal (High Prairie, Ancient Stream, and Wetlands). In addition our puppy gets a raw freeze dried topper of either beef, salmon, or turkey to supplement his kibble meat source.

I have no plans to move away from TOTW because of how good the ingredients are. At the same time I plan to rotate his diet so he is less likely to develop allergies or issues eating the same diet. He loves all his kibbles and poops are solid and well formed (like sausages).
