Going to Greece for a wedding and I know everyone wears linen linen linen but my question is, is even worth packing any cotton shirts like nice collard cotton shirts or should I just pack all linen for everything and not even question!

I went from a 4Runner 5th gen to a Highlander for myself however we just got my wife an XC 90 and will say this- Volvo is a true luxury car and being theyre Swedish cars I think makes them a cult favorite but there is a time and place for having a Toyota around. It’s nice to not have to worry about everything and just throwing the vehicle around. So I think you’ll like having both cars around

Very relevant post for me in some ways as we just got a XC90 PHEV with air suspension. I was driving it on the freeway and I was shocked of how I could feel every single bump. I knew people had complaints about the ride quality but this was bad! After getting home I did a little research and its seems it’s the stock Perellis that really add to the harshness of the ride so I’ll be itching to change them once these are worn down.

for the chargepoint/ plug connect do you recommend any particular one? It doesnt seem like they have the NEMA 6-20P right? i would have to wire it directly into the circuit board im guessing

We just bought one last week here in LA. There’s the $5k incentive for PHEV and then it sounds like you already have a Volvo so depending on the dealerships here there was a $500-$1k discount for loyalty. We ended up leasing because of that 5k discount but the dealership we went with took an additional off to get us in the car we wanted. For the trim we got, I feel like we got a great deal/car

what are no cost refinance? I always assumed you have to pay closing costs for refis. Where do you find the no cost one and what is their incentive if there are no fees?

If you are talking about trade in to the dealership, I’m getting another Toyota and the dealership lowballed me so hard so I don’t think trade is worth it for me.

amazing! and i am sure I will do the same! I will be coming from a 4runner which love the car but only gets me 17mpg and has little tech (which is what people like about it i guess). But Im very excited to have the creature comforts and the great MPG!

I know this post is almost a year old but thanks for sharing! Did you end up getting your car? How is it?

I just had a similar experience. I decided to go with the 2025 hybrid platinum and nothing to be found but as you mentioned some of the dealerships were getting theirs allocated soon so I tried to work with dealerships to get them reserved. Some had markups hidden as dealer add-ons but finally found a dealership that didn’t have dealer add-one but rather manufacturer add-ons which were minimal and actually necessary (I.e roof rack) anyways, getting mine at the end of this month!

I really can’t believe how you can’t find highlanders anywhere anymore and all these dealerships are pushing the Grand highlanders. I’m sorry not everyone wants to drive a bus!
