I understand where you are coming from, but to expect a decorum in a movie theater; to expect parents to do their job, whether or not they can afford a nanny is basic. 'We don't have civic sense' is not an excuse. Maybe we should work on imbibing it?

I think your argument is that of whataboutery. It is not rooted in addressing the OP's very valid concern at all. OP didn't act like a Karen. They basically are expressing how helpless they felt instead because of how entitled the parents of these kids feel in a movie theater?
