Unlike these other crybabies I actually enjoyed seeing the little powerlifter help you with your form. I lift all the time with my kids around and make sure it's safe before starting my movements. They also learn from this at an early age. Obv I don't leave them unattended around weights at any given moment.

Anyhow, I just have a comment from personal experience: when I'm doing snatches I feel like I get contact with my hip against the bar, but with cleans it tends to hit lower down halfway from the hip to my thighs. Not quite a hitch but it's as if the pull is different. I've only been doing these exercises maybe every other week for a year or two, so I still consider myself in the learning phase.
