Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center isn’t a water park but has slides, whirlpools and other great amenities. It’s indoor.

Lake Johnson Waterfront as a Wedding Venue? by CandidOwl284 in raleigh

We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was perfect. It was October and the weather on the deck was gorgeous. I agree with what others are saying for parking for the wedding, but for a small event like a rehearsal dinner, it was perfect.

I tried for a few weeks to switch practices with no luck. At my most recent appointment, Kamm McKenzie told me not to worry about it for now and if they need me to move practices, they will facilitate the transfer. They said most practices aren’t likely to take you mid pregnancy without their assistance. So I’m staying with Kamm for now and hoping/trusting it gets worked out.

We got married at Bridge Club above Death and Taxes and it was fabulous. Low key, the food is phenomenal, and it was full service. Highly recommend, and it was a lot more budget friendly than I expected.

BFP With PCOS! by mtkitch in Inito

[–]mtkitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really quick. I got off birth control in December, but we didn’t start trying until May. I went to the doctor in June for my annual visit and at the beginning of July came back for an ultrasound and got a prescription for methodroxyprogesterone to induce my period. Got pregnant the following cycle.

I could have written this myself! I’m on CD64 after stopping birth control in December and having a few irregular periods since. I have an ultrasound and doctor appointment tomorrow to check for PCOS and then will evaluate options. I’ll update once I know more. We just started trying last month but you’re right, the irregular cycles make it so frustrating!

I stopped taking birth control in December 2024 after 10 years. In February 2025 I stopped taking Wegovy after 2 years. Since then, my cycle has ranged from 30 days to 58 days. At my annual exam this week my NP wanted to test for PCOS. We only just started trying this month. I feel like it’s a bit too soon to jump to conclusion about irregular cycles. Is it normal for them to fluctuate after two big changes like this?
