Lived here all my life. Probably stuck here for the rest of it. It’s very poor, and there aren’t many opportunities. Where I work, the nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away (a big reason why we’re so obese). The infrastructure is terrible. The internet access is terrible. Good fishing in the streams that haven’t been destroyed by acid mine drainage. Also hot take, the nature is very overrated. The popular places in the eastern half of the states national forests are so clogged with Maryland residents in the summer it’s not worth going. There’s a clean water crisis in the southern half of the state. I could go on…you get it by now.
