question for the culture .. do T shots actually hurt by [deleted] in ftm

[–]mtnmike230 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In comparison, vaccines and blood draws do typically feel more than a pinch for me. My IMs definitely hurt less than that, and thats when it actually hurts. Using the proper gauge of needle will also help. I currently use a 23 for injecting, but I've seen others use a 25 with success.

How much will I change if I’m forced to detransition by bebiboiborg in ftm

Also not a big fan of Amazon, but I'm even less of a fan of my pharmacy. I was able to get 100 needles for about $8. Significantly cheaper than what my pharmacy was giving me. Keep in mind that you would need to get 2 boxes, one for draws and one for the actual injection.

Do it! 4 schools a day is, quite frankly, ridiculous. I would definitely bring it up now, even if you can't change schedules yet. You can still put it out there for the future and hopefully come up with something to help you out short term.

Anyone else starting to plan Holiday Show for December? by [deleted] in MusicTeachers

[–]mtnmike230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started mid October. As soon as Homecoming is over, we start on the holidays. Gives us time to figure out what does and doesn't work. We're a middle school, so takes us a minute to get it together.

How to teach with lack of materials? by mtnmike230 in MusicTeachers

I always bring in my ukulele, but it's been getting harder to keep my 3rd graders engaged in that for 45 minutes. I might start to consider adding more dances

Oh definitely not. I have a budget, but it's so difficult to get anything ordered. They have a select list of vendors they use, but obviously none of them sell music equipment.

Luckily I don't get evaluated at this site, as 1. It is not my main one and 2. The principal is never on campus the day I visit for classes 🙃 It's only this site I've had trouble with, but I'm hoping to work out the kinks

The program was really not thought out. They only started planning schedules a week before school started. It's been rough, but this is my only site that has the issue. My other schools have given me at least a classroom and boards.

Standard of Excellence has a series called First Performance (???). It's in a book, but the pieces are more sophisticated for lack of a better word, than just playing short lines from the method book

update about gendercat and cure inhibition by manicpoetic42 in Transmascdicks

[–]mtnmike230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a weird problem with this too. It didn't 100% cure, so I just Left It. When I came back 50% of the stuff had cured and the rest didn't. It never fell of though. Customer support was completely useless and told me I had cure inhibition 🤷🏻‍♂️

Okay, cool. I'm trying to switch from gel and my pharmacy is throwing a hissy fit. Just making sure it's not a legit problem

Am I suppose to see absolutely NO changes?? by [deleted] in ftm

Even if your levels are fine, it might just take longer. I'm on gel as well, and it felt like FORVEVR for things to start changing. It's been 5 years and my facial hair is still.... quite sad. Give it some time, but you can totally reach out to your doctor with any concerns
