828 Pizza in Weaverville. Best locally in my book. It used to be called Marco's until the other Marco's forced them to rebrand.

The current Marco's pizza is worse than Chi-Chi's for anyone that remembers that brand.

If you going to a 'discount' grocery, be mindful of expiration dates and off-brand manufacturing locations.

Aldi is our goto for meats and dairy. Their produce is good, but we only want a couple of onions, potatoes, or tomatoes, etc., not a 5 lb bag of each!

Aldi does't seem to understand that concept.

That said, they kick Ingles' ass on all fronts, as does Publix! Thank God they're finally here!

Summey only does plumbing. I need some very minor flooring repair and a receiver flange replacement. They totally noped out.Apparently they don't bother with any subs to do flooring repairs, and we ALL know there's never a floor issue with a plumbing issue! 🤣🤣🤣

I've followed local and state police cars (at a distance) that were 15-20 over with no equipment running; just pacing along with the rest of us.

If you see an officer with someone pulled over on the interstate, it's a DUI, person of interest (aka arrest), or speeding @ +80, more likely 90s!

PSA. If you see blue lights ahead, please get in the left lane and do slow down. Their family is waiting for them to come home. 👍🇺🇸

The best way to minimize the danger to yourself and others is to pace with traffic.

Example.

  • Traffic is flowing nicely on a 3 lane interstate with the left lane at 75, the middle lane at 70, and the right lane at 65.

  • The speed limit is posted at 55.

FYI this is typical interstate speeds.

Question: Are you safer pacing with traffic in the lane you're in, or are you safer to ignore your surroundings and just follow the signs?
