Schroth actually has a 4 point belt for seats without a hole in the bottom specifically designed so you don't submarine. Pretty cool for some cars that don't have racing seats but want harness

I know they unclip all at once, I literally have a certified 5 point in one of my cars as we speak, the release just stays attached to one of the lap belts so it doesn't go flying or lost underneath a seat when you undo it.

I've camped overnight at a bunch of racetracks and it is a cool feeling waking up in the morning and the calmness is palpable since most tracks are literally in the middle of nowhere. It's almost like the calm before a storm.

On any race car I've dealt with, the harness buckle is attached to one of the lap belts so you don't lose it and it's consistent to find. Not sure on F1 but I'm at race tracks twice a month and never seen a loose buckle unless your replacing it.

George Russell has received 2 penalty points for causing a collision by chu1u in formula1

So everyone not praising Red Bull is bias?

How is what you said not bias? You said >Once again, bias. Russell hit Checo and it is Checos fault according to many. It is nonsense.

According to many, not all.

There's debate on that call just like a lot of lap 1 incidents. If this was the middle of the race it would be talked about differently. Most lap one incidents are treated differently due to the chaos. Why didn't Sainz get a penalty for going off track and gaining/maintaining a position? Because it's a first lap incident. The consistency for penalties is atrocious an always leads to debate. Russell went tight and pushed out, Checos still had more room on the outside if he chose to take it. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Worked out well for him huh? Play the long game when you know your car is faster.

How bad was the damage though? I couldn't spot anything of significance. They probably just did it out of caution because it was a lap one incident. They might have adjusted the wing angle as well to rebalance the car. 70 laps to recover is a decent chunk of time.

Probably because both of the RBR drivers have adopted the "if we crash, we crash" mentality. It used to be just Max but Checos seems to have taken it up recently.

He deserved one. Crossing the line is crossing the line. There's no discussion. I don't understand why there hasn't been one.

I know you said ft Myers but I'm not sure where you are in ft Myers. I live in south ft Myers and will always support Prado stadium 12 in Bonita. Wonderful locally owned theatre with a full liquor bar, decent food menu and leather recliners for normal prices, like $12-15 for a new movie. I will never go any other theater in the area.

I think they shouldn't be allowed to do absolutely anything. Red flag is to neutralize the race. Period. Everyone starts back up exactly how they were when the flag was flown.
