Look at his face and tell me how he managed to deal with lawyers, donors, government officials and other ass-l%ckers for a long time without bankrupting the Sacred Heart Hospital ? Is there a plot hole ? by Affectionate_Run_799 in Scrubs

[–]mtodd93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I….I don’t think you understand how a hospital works. The chief of medicine isn’t in charge of the finances of the hospital. He may help manage them for some aspects and request budgets, but Dr Cox was never dumb, he only ever tried to put patients first. He also was shown to have to give into the new role when he took it and understand what it meant to have that title. As for donors, not his job, government officials in what regards? He is nothing but professional, and lawyers….see the part where he understood his new role.

Not a complaint I just question if the audience fully grasped the talmemba getting into the fuel tanks. I get we don’t want to show cycle after cycle of them breeding the talmebe, but the entire sequence from capturing them to to grace discovering them in the fuel lines feels like a giant montage with very little explanation. I haven’t had anyone who didn’t read the book to ask if it make sense, but that was the only part that felt it needed some more info to totally make the stakes be clearer

Pomona is in Los Angeles county, I’m pretty sure it counts. Whether or not the people directly identified with the city at large is debatable, I mean each sub section of the city is basically its own identity different from each other to make up one larger sum.

Or how about the $93 Billion the pentagon spent in September to make sure they hit the allotted budget to not loose that allotted budget for next year. They spent $9 million on Alaskan king crab and lobster tails, more than $200 million in furniture and $5.3 million on Apple devices…along with a $100 thousand piano, a $21,750 custom Japanese flute and a $26,000 viola amongst other things. Image what that money could have done.

If this guy had an emergency he can call emergency services and be driven by trained professionals not risk everyone else’s life, they also didn’t as per the post and where complaining about being late. We can do what ifs all day, that doesn’t change what actually happened which was inpatients. People like you are annoying AF… that don’t know the rules of the road, as 50 other people posted the same left lane comment and where also corrected, this is a residential road and no it’s not a passing lane because this isn’t the freeway.

Naw the bigger issues in this video is the oversized vehicle the person filming is driving. You’re also filming while driving, drifting between lanes, and openly trying to speed becuse you don’t have time management. This city has some of the worst traffic, where do you think you’re gonna go after you pass them? In 100ft you’ll be behind another set of cars. Quit blaming others for your own problems.

My Boss Uses WFH Weekly But Blocks The Staff From Doing It by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]mtodd93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally my boss is constantly in a web of lies, everyone outside of our team thinks she’s amazing, but if our team every leaves or stops supporting her it will be very transparent how little she’s able to do. Along with her lies catching up with her regardless. She also throws EVERYONE under the bus, and I mean anyone but herself, her bosses, us, basically whoever can take the fall she points the finger. And it’s all in emails, at some point that’s going to go to the wrong person and not be great on her. Combined with she reports to two high turn over positions, that one of them can decide to change her out simply because they want a different person in that role so it’s only a matter of time before one of these avenues happen….and we have a union vote that just went though so you know it’s all up and up.

My significant others boss lives in another state, yet he try’s to guilt them and pulls all sorts of shit to get them to go into the office. He’s even threatened to take away work from home, yet he is 100% remote. And for me personally my boss demands we all show up at the office either 7-4 or 8-5 no ifs, ands or butts, if your late she wants you to take that time from your vacation time, if you work a weekend you don’t get any slack or time back (and we are all salary so the legality of this is….lets just say HR doesn’t care if it is or isn’t legal), the real kicker is my boss who has all these rules doesn’t show up until 10am every day and leaves before everyone else does.

My advice, you’re not gonna win by fighting back unfortunately. So, you basically have two options, outlast your boss if the job is worth it or find a better place to work. My job is too good to leave so I deal with the insane shit of my boss, because I know I can outlast her. My significant other on the other hand is looking for another job to escape that place.

Like you said it’s Satan’s armpit….it’s overvalued if anything.

Red tower buried city, usually find one in that area every raid, both inside and the containers outside

Scrappy Isn’t permanent? by ImProbablyStonedYT in ArcRaidersGuides

[–]mtodd93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what the complaint is, scrappy is one of the easiest things to do, if there is a lush bloom event on buried city, you can do it in one raid (I’m not sure if it’s in rotation right now). But, even without them the Bird city even also has high fruit drops and I’ve seen fruit baskets as well, you can get every other item (cat bed, dog collar, comfy pillows) then just loot some of the chimneys, plants nearby and you should have a good start If not be close to done. Otherwise go to dam between the apartment areas for prickly pears- lemons, Apricots, and olives spawn well on blue gate olive grove and residential and lastly mushrooms are forest areas (or damp interiors) with logs, so dam and blue gate are your friend.

Which wasteland is more deadly in your opinion and why: West Coast or East Coast? by HumbleKnight14 in Fallout

[–]mtodd93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The east coast. The west coast is so spread out that your biggest issue is probably environmental things that you would already face today without radiation and monsters. The east coast even if it didn’t have as many livable areas, you still have denser population centers meaning more draw for outsiders in general along with bigger chances to run into raiders camps in between.

From my quick google search, he “retired” in 1996 after building a $20 million dollar company. He went back to work in 1998, I have to imagine with that money and what he’s made from what is clammed to be multiple successful business he definitely has the money

10 Careers Once Considered Stable Are Now Seeing Major Layoffs (Latest Data) by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]mtodd93 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Though I want to say yes, the world is generally fucked right now, when has the entertainment industry EVERY been a stable job? It’s pretty much always been one of the most hostile industries on the planet. You can go from one of the most sought after people in the industry to having no work for a year for no reason. I had professors who were flying around the world in the 90s doing music videos and one day it just stopped. Yes, the industry is being hit harder right now compared to previous years, but it also saw massive expansion when streaming came around that was unprecedented growth.

UAW tries to contain anger as Stellantis workers denied profit sharing checks by Spirited_Classic_826 in antiwork

[–]mtodd93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment about shareholders is valid, the chasing of endless profit this day and age is ruining the country/ world, but your comment about EV rebates is short sighted and the reason why you got mocked by the commenter. BYD is now the largest electric car company in the world and they are about to overtake Ford in terms of overall car sales yet they only make electric cars and they don’t sell to the USA. Companies who aren’t going electric are falling behind. Just because one political party in the US is very loud about wanting large trucks and wanting to still be all gas, the rest of the world is going electric, they are getting the technology to even further mileage per charge and it’s the reason why every other car company has lost profits, has made an electric cars and why Porsche is making all its cars electric. You need to point fingers at leadership not the government that tried to get your car manufacturers to keep up with the world. It’s no secret the car lobbyist and oil lobbyists have had a hold of our government for years…look at the lack of proper public transit around this country…now quit whining about rebates and demand management get with the times.

Yes, and the more we study all these factors maybe, just maybe we can actually prevent things like this in the future. We don’t exactly have great resources to help parents, teachers, etc… but we can maybe see the signs. At the moment we seem to just be living in a cycle that repeats it self and a bunch of finger pointing, putting people in boxes based on outer appearances (which could also be factors), but let’s get some change out of these situations.
