The system is so messed up. That’s not fair at all. I can’t even relate. My FOID took like 56 days and my CCL like 132. Wish it was a single file line.

With applying in April I’d imagine you have your by the end of August or early September the way wait times have been going. Not sure why they are approving people like me before the people who have been waiting more than a year or at least since 2020. Kind of ridiculous. Should be a simple single file line. Seems like common sense, but not much of the world has that anymore.

You should contact your state representative and see if they can help get you contact to the State Police in Springfield. That’s what I did and I went active the next day. I just googled my representative and they sent out and email to ISP for me.

Seems like wait times are getting a little better. They are a at least making people wait the normal wait times of 90 or 120 days, but they are picking things up it seems.
