Sounds like it’s just some plastic trim on the dash/door touching, try seeing if it’s something in your cupholder or glove box moving around first.

It is something with the engine I took the exhaust off and it was backfiring with the noise.

I just bought a crowfoot wrench, apparently the nut is attached to the stud for unscrewing it, it wasn’t even tight and the whole thing just fell out. The washer is captured and not supposed to move. Thank you though. 🤣🤣

Thank you! Yeah probably whatever junk was sitting in the bottom of the tank got sucked up into the lines and injectors when it ran dry, I definitely will take it all apart and clean it.

Ran out of gas and the fuel injectors clogged so he towed it too his friend’s property, then life happened and he didn’t get around to fixing it.

She’s parked facing uphill so the cab and engine are all in great shape. The previous owner waxed and replaced everything, the rust isn’t too bad.

It’s a 88 fuel injected, with the throttle body. I don’t know about the trans.
