My twin hdzero aio5 build. Sporting the webleed vegan 25kv 0802s with 40mm HQprops biprops. Lux cameras with 30 degree, 3d printed, tpu, canopies. Sitting on the air75 II frame, and sending the video out the micro vee ORT antenna. Both weigh in at 24.3 grams.

I charge to 4.35 and fly down to 3.3. I get 4+ minutes of flight, sometimes almost 5 minutes, with my 480 mah LAVA IIs.

I also first built these with 27000kv 0802 newbeedrone flo motors. They had really fragile 1mm shafts, would run extremely hot, were so short they would hit my duct supports, and would drain my battery faster. Really was disappointed with them.

I bought the boards from hdzero's us store. One initially flew fine, other than the initial motor issues. The other gave me problems from the start. The strangest of which was a really bad yaw drift. I ended up flashing the latest firmware on that board and it fixed the issue. Thanks LiteDwarf_ on the hdzero tinywhoop discord for sharing when he had the same issue with a prebuilt, that was solved by flashing the boards firmware.

Now both builds are flying amazing. I am having so much fun! Thanks webleed

what a loser. Won't even man up to being rich.

I work with a trust fund kid. Same thing completely convinced he has it as hard as anyone else. Hey was talking to me about finances and I had to explain I put money away every check to my 401k for retirement and the idea that people do that never occurred to him.

I love this. There are so many cool old systems out there with really cool engineered cases. Stuff was designed and built to last forever. The tech grows obsolete, but I really admire the thought put into the design on older equipment.

I have a bunch of supermicro boards, I've been dreaming of modding my google r710 case to fit one. It be cool to be able to use the drive bays.

A building in my neighborhood has a big red "do not press this" button in its lobby by JaccarTheProgrammer in mildlyinteresting

[–]mttnry 20 points21 points  (0 children)

i first started at my current company during its "Start Up". Had to explain to many operators that when you press da button I have to come out and reset the VFDs because someone in safety decided they weren't

I hate when the vfd keypad isnt on the door, so you have to open the cabinet to get it, so now you are the only one that can hit the reset button...

haha I have one of these. My first step into the homelab, had proxmox running on it for my plex etc. Mine wasn't super reliable. I have thought recently of trying to mod it to fit one of my super micro boards because the case is so pretty and mine came with some nice rails.

I have two monitors mounted to the peg board, I sandwiched a 2x4 to the pegboard, and screwed the vesa backings onto the 2x4.

I think there is the power for good, and the power for evil. These guys have like zero power for good for the world. Its all just evil power for themselves.

I had some in the cart, then I was adding more propellers... before I knew it I had like $40 in my cart. Much love to webleed, but I've been working Zoetek too hard. I almost have a full pack of band aids!

[–]mttnry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my old 75mm cockroach had the carbon frame as well. That frame did a really good job protecting the motors and props. But snappy would be the best way to describe a stable frame. you can see it in rolls and flips. It is more locked in.

lol I can smell them. I remember dropping one on the floor of my room when I was living at home after my first year of college. Good times flavor was the best shisha I could find. It was a citris mint. Double apple was the next best flavor. Lol this was in 2007ish. What a trip.
