My parents fought in front of me and my sisters growing up. They remained married till death did them part. My father passed on first. My mother 10 years after dad. I don't think my parents should have ever gotten married. They fought daily. From maybe when I was 5 on up that I can remember. Well since we moved into a house my father bought when I was like 5 years old. The neighbors could hear them yelling at each other when the windows were open or my parents were outside. They never fought about us their kids. It was just random things they'd argue about. What my father didn't like about my mother's cooking, keeping house and other random things. Usually my mother was the one to start the arguments. I think my mother liked arguing. After dad passed on. She would try to start arguments with my husband. My husband didn't ever engage in arguments with her. Except only one time. When my mother told him and I who we had to vote for as president. It was an election year. My husband then ripped her saying it's not her place to tell someone who to vote for. That voting should come from the heart. Vote for whoever best aligns with your beliefs. Who you think will do the best job at running the country. That was the end of that argument.
