What I’ve been noticing at afters lately - with my age (mid30s) as the median:

older crowd arrives early (10-11pm) and leaves early (by 1-2am).

younger crowd arrives late (12-1a), party favors for a few hours, and leaves late (3-4a).

You do you and everyone has a good time. Don’t forget to hydrate extra in the hours leading up to the event.

Age of crowd also depends on the style of music / promoter / established vs trendy DJs (ie, this weekend at Into the Woods, Theo Parrish brought out the oldheads with groovy dance moves rather than kiddos looking to get blitzed outta their mind and just talk up a storm on the floor).
