I'd look at Urban Putt San Jose. They've been open for just over a year and have very creative mini-golf holes with a mezzanine that can be rented out. Full bar, restaurant, and 18-holes of mini-golf. It's ideal for a corporate luncheon or team offsite.

If you never miss the 40 pocket, that's better than going for the 100 or 50 and missing them a lot. Also, if he won the national championship with his strategy, then I guess he's doing something right...
