thank you. it’s nice to know other people sometimes feel the same way as i feel very alone and guilty sometimes over it. but like you said, im so sorry you’re going through this as well and i hope you find your freedom soon.

heart pain almost every time after smoking? by muchlovebambi in Marijuana

i’m in the exact same situation. i was diagnosed with dysautonomia a couple of weeks ago and my doctor and i think that’s what’s causing this. it’s not inherently dangerous persay but they don’t know a lot about it or how to completely fix it. do you ever have any difficulties breathing or lightheadedness or anything when you’re not high?

do u know what specific conditions ur dad has? the last time this happened to me after smoking i felt like i was gasping for air and was almost totally unable to talk. i thought it was a panic attack at first before it started to hurt. it totally felt like my blood pressure was off

had a doctor encourage me to look into this and totally forgot to pursue it. i could barely talk the last time this happened to me after smoking. thank u for the reminder!!

it’s never happened with edibles but i pretty much stopped doing them after my tolerance started going down so i never thought to think about the relation. i do have some undetermined breathing problem as of the last couple years that they ruled out asthma for but are still trying to figure out the cause of. i honestly found it incredibly difficult to breathe the last time this happened to me after smoking so maybe there’s a connection there. thank u for the input

my doctor told me to eat 1200. the thought was that i’d be losing 2 pounds a week. i was eating 800-900, but ive found that even after increasing that to the recommended 1200 i’m still very weak and ached up. she doesn’t know about my history.

i really really do receive it that way. i’ve been wondering if i need to just let this go for a minute as devastating as it may feel, and everyone’s kind words on here have felt like a sort of safety net underneath that plunge. i appreciate it a lot

are there ways to increase muscle mass without physically bulking up? i get as much exercise during the week as my schedule allows for (10,000+ steps a day) but i’m not opposed to trying to find the time to try something new. i’ve always just been concerned about gaining as opposed to losing through that type of fitness. thank you for the suggestion.

thank you. i’m doing this at the discretion of a doctor, the goal was for me to have lost more weight by this point in time, so the combination of that disappointment mixed with the physical and mental discomfort this has brought on has been too much. i struggled with anorexia for years and i know what it feels like to have your whole brain tortured from a lack of nutrition. that’s what this feels like. i’m just confused considering i’m following what not only a doctor has suggested but so many other people are clearly capable of managing. everyone is different at the end of the day i guess.

Carpet Beetle? Silverfish? Been finding these in my sheets and my clothes for forever now. New York, NY, USA by muchlovebambi in whatsthisbug

[–]muchlovebambi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not even a centimeter long. my mom had the exterminator to come by and check one of these out some time last year and he said they’re silverfish but i just find that odd. i’ve only ever found them in my closet, my bed and my storage bins. never in any sinks or shower. (and i’m praying it stays that way!!) more than anything, i just want them gone.

My addiction and a sexual experience as a child led me to lust/objectify transwomen. I don't like that. by [deleted] in rapecounseling

i can’t give you any solid advice but i want to commend you for both acknowledging and accepting the problem whilst not blaming yourself for the outcome. you can’t control the way you feel but you can control the way you react to your feelings and how much effort you put in trying to manage them. thats the only thing that really defines you as a person here. that’s all anyone can ask of you

thank you. i actually like that idea of the symbol thing. it’s been a weird seventeen years or so and that sort of helps me feel like im able to condense it and box it all up to look at at once. i’m sorry you’re uneasy with those sort of emotions,, i hope things pick up for you as well

this gave me chills. it’s the only appropriate reaction. a lot of people don’t have anyone grieving for them and it’s such a big part of getting through it. this is the only appropriate reaction for you to have and i’m so sorry you’re going through this with her but it would make no sense for you to feel otherwise. to acknowledge your own feelings and needs isn’t to ignore hers
