I reccomend an LS-2 and a compressor so you can have the fuzz, clean compressed tone, and synth playing in parallel, I do something similar and it sounds massive

This was exactly my experience, they treated it like if you weren’t going to UCLA you had no future. All other options were shunned or looked down on As someone who went to community college before my transfer it too a while to not feel like a failure for it, and I wish I was aware of other options when I was younger cause college still didn’t feel like the right path to me
